Mehveş Demirer is a Project Officer and Qualitative Research Analyst at Development Analytics. She has experience in grant counselling, funding, tender searching, and project management. She is responsible for business development and the maintenance of qualitative research for the assigned projects. She supports research associates and project teams in research development and implementation. She contributes to seeking opportunities for new business development across various thematic areas such as poverty, health, education, labour, and social protection. She maintains background research, literature reviews, qualitative research methods, and reports for various projects by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. She has developed proficiency in interview guideline development, collecting, coding (NVIVO) and reporting qualitative data.

She acted as a Field Coordinator in a project titled “Early Childhood Education (ECE) Costing Analysis in Türkiye” in cooperation with the UNICEF Türkiye country office and the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye. She was in charge of different parts of the project, such as organising field activities by scheduling face-to-face meetings, collecting qualitative data through key informant interviews with various stakeholders, conducting field visits, and coding and reporting the data.

Mehveş holds an MA degree from Bologna University in the Protection of Human Rights and International Cooperation Programme and a BA from Bahçeşehir University in the Political Science and International Relations programme.
