Selin Köksal, Ph.D.
Research Associate
Dr. Selin Köksal is an Assistant Professor in Demography at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Selin’s research focuses on social demography, fertility decisions, and reproductive health matters.
Dr. Selin Köksal received her PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Università Bocconi in Italy in 2022. Prior to her PhD, she worked as a Research Assistant at Bahçeşehir University Center for Economic and Social Research (Betam) in Turkey. She holds her MA in Economics from the University of Warwick and BA in Economics from Galatasaray University. Selin's research has been published in sociology and demography journals such as the Journal of Health and Social Behavior and the European Journal of Population.
